This past Sunday morning, May 14, Trinity E p i s c o p a 1 Church began a kind of ‘antipoverty’ program for its own people. The ‘poverty’ in this instance is an inadequate understanding of the Faith, and everyone is subject to this type of ‘malnutrition’. Trinity Church hopes that by providing an available ‘menu’ of appropriate books, that the reading ‘diet’ can be made more palatable. Thus one’s Faith can become more robust as ‘reading-starvation’ is overcome. A small parish library of religious books has been begun. There are included books on the Faith, Life and the Bible, for all ages. Sunday morning the new parish library was dedicated. It was made possible by the generous gifts made in memory of loved ones whose lives have been meaningful to the givers.) The two large, naturalwoodfinish, glass-fronted, bookcases were the gift of Mrs. Roberta Spalding and her son, Mr. Robert L. Massie, Jr., given in memory of Robert Lee Massie and Frank Wait Spalding.
