Will Meet Friday
The Rappahannock County Volunteer Firemen’s Association will meet Friday, May 19, 1967 at the Castleton fire hall. This was stated incorrectly in the last issue of the paper. The meeting begins at 7;30 p.m.

The Chester Gap Home Demonstration Club will hold a combined Rummage and Bake Sale in the Marchi Building in Front Royal- on Saturday, May 27, starting at 9 a.m.
Two Local Boys To
Attend Forestry Camp
William C. Vernam, Forester with the Virginia Division of Forestry, reports that two Rappahannock County boys have been selected by the State Forester to attend the 1967 Forestry Camp at Holiday Lake on the [Buckingham Appomattox State F orest from June 26 to July 1, 1967. Hugh R. Deal and Richard W. Deal of Sperryville in recognition of their interest in forestry, wildlife and general conservation of our natural resources have been selected to attend the camp from Rappahannock County. The boys will be part of a group of 120 boys from 50 counties in the state who will attend the camp and participate in a week of forestry training, without charge at Holiday Lake. The camp, which is administered by the Virginia Division of Forestry, is intended to interest and instruct Virginia boys in sound forestry and conservation prin ciples and is sponsored by the Southern Pulpwood Conservation Association.
