Washington, Flint Hill and Sperryville fire company attended the field fire Saturday afternoon at the home of W. Arthur Miller.
Flint Hill company also went to a field fire on the W. R. Welch property on Saturday. On Friday they were called to a field fire at the home of Mrs. Mary Updike. Flint Hill fire company went to a field fire Monday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Johnny Miles. Chester Gap Rescue Squad ambulance took Irwin Williams to Warren Memorial Hospital Sunday evening for treatment and X-rays. Rappahannock Rescue Squad took Jack Racer from home to the Culpeper Memorial Hos pital on Wednesday. On Saturday Mrs. Lily Clatterbuck was taken to Culpeper hospital for treatment. Ami6sville FireCompany responded to a fire at the house trailer of Donald Settle which burned on February 15. The same day they were called to a field fire on Route 621 at the Merry Meade Farm. The engine was called to a burning car on Route 211, February 16, but were turned back after service was not needed. February 17 they responded to a fire at the home of Roy Berry on the old Culpeper road and to a grass fire on the Tylek property west of Amiss ville. Amissville answered an alarm to a dump fire on Route 621 Sunday and the following day responded to a house trail er fire at Estes. *The trailer was owned by Guy Dudy.
