Approved appropriations also include $353,400 in the Front Royal exchange and $28,300 in the Washington, Virginia exchange for improvements in these areas. The largest appropriation in Front Royal is $109,800 for central office equipment. Numerous cable and plant extensions are planned in both Washington and Front Royal. The largest cable expenditure is in the Happy Creek-Ilowlesville area in the amount of $33,000.
