The Potomac Edison Company has announced a construction program for 1968 calling for a record expenditure of nearly $34.6 million in its four-state service area, including nearly threequarters of a million dollars in this area. This is the largest one year construction budget in PE's history and will, in the words of President Charles D. Lyon, "enable us to vastly increase our capacity to meet the expanding power needs of our customers, and do it in the most economical and efficient way possible.”
