Subject for PTA
The Rappahannock County Elementary School P.T.A. announces its first meeting of the year to be held in that school auditorium at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 20.
The topic for the evening will be “Educational Programs Available Using Federal Title I Funds.” The speakers on this subject will be Frank J. Wool, Supervisor of Elementary Education and W. Clayton Turner, Coordinator of Federal Programs for the Warren-Rappahannock Public School System.
The two men will discuss the Rappahannock County Pre-School summer program, describe some of the programs supported by Federal Title I funds which are currently in use here, and talk about programs which might be available in the future under the Title I Act. They will accompany their presentation with slides, which were taken during previous summers and which show the Pre-School summer program in action.
This meeting should be of special interest to all parents, who have had children attending the summer pre-school session in the past and particularly, to all those parents, who will have children attending it in the future and who wish to know more about the program. However, the meeting is open to the public■
