Mrs. J. Clifford Miller, 95, of Richmond died January 9, 1971 af her home. She was formerly of Brandy Station and was buried ir the family section of Fairview Cemetery, Culpeper, The Rev John Chappel conducted the service at 11 a.m. Monday. Mrs. Miller was the widow of the founder and president of Miller Manufacturing Co. in Richmond, J. Clifford Miller, sr. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Collins Denny jr. of Midlothian; and two sons, J. Clifford Miller, jr. of Richmond and Mt. Vernon Stock Farm, Sperryville and Lewis Nelson Miller, Richmond.
BUCounty Arts
On January 21 at 7:30 p.m. the Bi-County Arts and Crafts Club will meet in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Deane at Boston. The meeting will be devoted to making “Burlap Flowers.”
4-H Report
At a recent meeting of the 4th grade girls’ 4-H Club at the Rappahannock County Elementary School Miss Joanne Van Brederode talked to our group. She told us of her many experiences with horses and showed us very interesting slides of her horses and of the riding school she attended in England.
