Fact Eji 'Huge, ugly steel towers will be used along the entire vertical length of Rappahannock County even though at first the w ires' might be hung from wooden pales. A power transmission line is a permanent thing and steel is far more permanent than wood.
Fact 6: Once a right-of-way is given up, the property owner no longer has anything to say about what the power company can or cannot do with it. Promises do not mean anything if it wanted to build bigger towers, run a second or third row of towers, spray herbicides or even condemn adjacent land to increase right-of-way width.
