All members of the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors were present for the January meeting held Thursday, and they accepted, with regret, the resignation of Miss Judy Burtner, Extension Agent, Home Economics who plans on returning to school to secure her masters degree; Her resignation is effective the first of February.
The Clerk was asked to check into the inclusion of the Dog Warden as a full time employee concerning retirement, etc.
The Board requested the Clerk to check requirements for including the Dog Warden in the retirement program.

Mrs. Patricia Creel of Boston was present to request the; removal of the trash container from the highway at Scrabble. Action was taken to have it; placed on the school grounds at Scrabble.
James K. Skeens, Highway i Resident Engineer, requested action be taken to discontinue} maintenance of three small section of secondary roads which; have not been used in years. \ Approval is expected at the next; meeting.
It was suggested by Supervisor! Foster, that additional help should be hired to assist with snow removal at Chester Gap. A breakdown in equipment had caused deiay in snow removal in that section following the last snow.
