LETTERS to EDITOR
Madam Editor:
While we are waiting for action by the State Corporation Commission on the initial legal action to defend our Rappahannock County environment from destruction by Potomac Edison’s proposed transmission line, the electric company has apparently been very busy. Potomac Edison’s representatives have planted false information leading to false rumors and are using the divide and conquer approach to acquire the right-of-way for ftheir unnecessary transmission line. Its surveyors have trespasser on private property and ftt#n said that they had made a mistake. Threats that we will all be using kerosene lamps unless they get their power line have been heard several times. Promises are being made that have no chance of bemg honored. It’s time to state tHe facts and expose the devisive tactics of the Potomac Edison Power Company.
