Coming back to school seems to have brought many problems to everyone. Students are suffering this week from term papers, projects, book reports and upcoming exams. With the help of Mrs. Moffett, although, our work load seems much lighter. She has been busy getting books, papers, and articles for us. Girls are now allowed to wear slacks to school. There has been much discussion on this subject for some time. The Dress Review Board, an organization made up of students and teachers who discuss the dress of the boys and girls at R.C.H.S. It was finally decided that the students could have this privilege. ' Our'eighth grade boys win have a basketball game this Tuesday with the Strasburg eighth graders, The game will be held here at RCHS. The Annual Staff is busy again getting pages ready for the next deadline. They are also taking pictures and getting more ways to make money for the yearbook.
An assembly was held Friday by the Marine Corps for all the boys. Several films on physical fitness were shown. Many ofcour boys will participate in the Physical Fitness tests and will compete against other schools.
The S.C.A. is planning a Sweetheart Dance in February and also they are discussing many ways to make money for a new curtain in the gymnasium. They have raised most of the money and just have a small way to go, so everyone help the S.C.A. make this project a school-wide one.
The J.V.’s almost had victory Friday against Elkton. They lost the game by only one point. Both the J.V. and ‘the Varsity played well. Let’s give our team some real support in the upcoming games
