Performance Award
Mrs. Marjorie E. Vetter, a resident of Amissville, Va., has received her fifth DA Outstanding Performance Award. A supervisory editor in the Administrative Management Office U. S. Army Material Command Mrs. Vetter was commended for her efforts to standardize AMC administrative publications, and for providing solutions to publication problems. She was also cited for her outstanding ability as a writer, editor, and manager.
AMC, commanded by General Henry A. Miley, Jr., has the responsibility for testing, developing, producing, supplying and maintaining the Army’s weapons, equipment and other material.
Mrs. Vetter has been employed by the government for 18 years. During this time, she has received numerous other awards for. her outstanding work. She is a graduate of the University of Minnesota. The Vetters have lived in the Amissville area since 1946.
