Mrs. Ella B. Miller
Mrs. Etta Brooke Newbill Miller, 73, of Washington., Va. died February 22, 1971 in a Staunton Hospital.
She is survived by her husband D. D. Miller of Washington, Va., two sons, D. D. Miller, Jr. of Fairfax and J. Newbill Miller of Washington, Va.; one sister, Mrs. P. E. Rawls of Mechanicsville and six grandchildren" She was a native of Essex County but had lived in Rappahannock for many years.
A funeral service was held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Trinity Episcopal Church conducted by the Rev. William M. Hargett. Interment was in Washington Masonic Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Charles Newbill Broaddus, John Asburn Rawls, Burnlay Newbill, John Wesley Price, Clarence M. Price and Wallace H. Critzer. Clore Funeral Home was in charge.
R. E. Duncan
Richard Edwin Duncan, a native of Culnener County, died in Los Angeles, Calif, on February 21,1971. He was the son of the late Richard Harrison and Jane Browning Duncan. His wife was the late Agnes Miller Duncan.
He is survived by four sisters and a brother; Mrs. M. L. Beery of Richmond, Mrs. Weston Grimsley, Mrs. R. M. Rohrer and Mrs. B. D. McClary of Culpeper and Lee M. Duncan of Viewtown.
He was a veteran of World War I and a retired building contractor.
A graveside service will be conducted by the Rev. John S. Farrar at 1 p.m. Friday at Fairview Cemetery, Culpeper. Pallbearers will be T. P. Jones, Milton Grimsley, Jesse Yowell,
