Mrs. F. W. Spalding and Mrs. G. W. Smith, Jr. were dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Smith in honor of Mrs. Smith’s birthday.

Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Grady Vest were Mr. and Mrs. James Turman and children of Front Royal and Mr. and Mrs. James Nicholson of Berryville.

Mr. and Mrs. Roger Allen Welch of Norfolk spent the weekend with Mr. Welch’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Welch at Mountain View Farm.

Mr. and Mrs. Rapley Owens and son are spending a two weeks vacation visiting Mrs. Owens parents at Vero Beach, Fla.

Mrs. Charles Raney and children visited relatives over the weekend at Virginia Beach.

Mr. and Mrs. James Lillard of Warrenton and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas N. Lillard of Castleton were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Carson Lillard. Miss Jean Lillard of Greenbelt, Md. visited her parents Friday enroute to visiting friends in Harrisonburg. Mrs. E. M. Eastham returned home Saturday from the Warren Memorial Hospital.

Mr. and Mrs. Edward E. Clark and family were Sunday afternoon visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Oltho Helm and Mrs. Pearl Brooks in Annandale and were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Gene Ackley, also of Annandale Mrs. W. A. Gentry was an overnight guest Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Clemens at Seaford. Mrs. Clemens returned home with Mrs. Gentry for a visit for several days and also visited her father, W. C. Gentry at Lynn Care Centre, Front Royal. Mrs. Ida Trump is visiting her brother and sister-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Lee Dickerson in Orlando, Fla. Edgar K. Browning of Charlottesville spent several days last week with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John S. Browning. John B. Browning, also of Charlottesville, spent the weekend at his home.
