Mrs. Beulah Brown Armentrout of Front Royal was seriously injured in a collision Saturday afternoon at the Massies Corner intersection. Mrs. Armentrout apparently entered Route 211 from Route 522 and was struck broadside by a vehicle traveling west on Route 211.

According to Trooper W. A. Buntin, Mrs. Armentrout operating a '63 Chevrolet, pulled into the west lane of Route 211 in front of an oncoming car, a '69 i Ford driven by John Wayne Roles of Silver Spring, Md. The Armentrout vehicle was struck in the1 left side and damage was! estimated at $700. Damage to the Ford was set at $1,000. ;
