Panther Tales

The Sweetheart Dance turned out to be a great success Friday night. The SCA worked hard getting the decorations, refreshments, and the band ready. The music was the “Ravin Blue” which played several songs which included “Gypsy Woman, My Girl, and Black Magic Woman.” The auditorium was decorated with a large red heart in the center with the Queen’s throne in the front of the bleachers. The tables were decorated with white and pink streamers with red hearts on each end. Everyone seemed to have an enjoyable time. The Seniors are planning for their big day in June. Already they have ordered announcements, and this week they will order those high-fashion gowns which are a must for any graduate.
The SCA is getting ready to start the SCA elections for next year. The executive committee met last week to nominate students for the offices of President, VicePresident, Secretary, Treasurer, and Reporter for the 1971-72 school year.
