Luncheon guests Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. Burke were Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Burke of Warrenton, C. Cletus Burke of Front Royal, Jennings Burke of Alexandria, Mrs. John Metzger of Lorton, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Vaughn of Stafford and Asa W. Burke of Cheyenne, Wyoming. Asa Burke, who was called here by the death of his brother, is visiting relatives and friends in the .county.
Mrs. James Adkins and children, Aletha, Lavonne, Benita and Kevin met her sister, Mrs. Paul Ball of Peterstown, W. Va. in Roanoke last Thursday and were all overnight guests of Mrs. Sylvia Fisher and son Troy.
Friday Mrs. Ball, Troy and the Adkins went to Peterstown to visit Mrs. Notie McClaugherty, their mother. They all visited Mrs. Adkins brother, Howard McClaugherty in Beckley, W. Va. Friday returning to Peterstown that night.
