A funeral service was conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Amissville Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Douglas Kanney officiated. Pallbearers were Graham Hackley, Theodore Barron, J. R. Latham, Thomas Smith, Franklin Smith and Harry Gasser. □
Mrs. Atkins
Mrs. Blanche Leacy Atkins, 72, of Flint Hill died April 6, 1972. She was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Martha Atkins and is survived by her husband Virgil Jackson Atkins.
Also surviving are four daughters; Mrs. Garfield Jenkins of Culpeper, Mrs. James Crawford of Baltimore, Md., Mrs. Charles Settle and Miss Kathleen Atkins, both of Flint Hill; one brother, Lee Atkins of Sperryville; three sisters; Mrs. Lelia Dodson, Mrs. Dollie Pullen and Miss Sally Atkins, all of Sperryville; and five grandchildren.
