FIGURES SUBMITTED to the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors by the Zoning Office show a substantial increase in numbers of permits issued, as well as construction costs. On the other hand, the number of applications for Special Use Permits and Variances from the zoning regulations have decreased. Following are the figures from 1968 through 1971.
RAPPAHANNOCK County Zoning statistics show an increase in building in the county with Jackson District, the Amissville area, keeping a slight edge over Wakefield, (Flint Hill) and Hampton, (Washington area).
