Mr. and Mrs. Edward H. Dodson of Hampton announce the engagement of their daughter, Frances Elizabeth Dodson, to John Francis McCay, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lyman C. McCay of Newport News.
Miss Dodson, the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hunter Dodson of Woodville, is employed by the Newport News Shipbuilding and Dry Dock Company.
Mr. McCay is a patrolman with the Newport News Police Department.
