NOW I AM AN advocate of self-control and of tolerance to some extent, but what is the minimum standard? Don’t you think that our society is too tolerant of some conditions? Even Christ reached the limit of His tolerance. This little poem is by E.L. Sabin.—
“An enemy 1 had, whose mein 1 stoutly strove in vain to know;
For hard he dogged my steps, unseen, wherever 1 might go.
My plans he balked; my aims he foiled; he blocked every onward way.
