Mr. and Mrs. Wade Pullen of Flint Hill announce the engagement of their daughter, Alice Virginia, to Lewis Charles Butler Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis C. Butler of Front Royal.
Miss Pullen is a 1966 graduate of Rappahannock High School and Monroe College, class of 1968. She is employed as a secretary with Aileen, Inc., Flint Hill.
Mr. Butler is a 1965 graduate of John S. Mosby Academy and is a salesman for Mills Auto Parts in Front Royal.
No date has been set for the wedding. □
Garden Club
The Rappahannock Garden Club will meet April 19 at 2 p.m. in the home of Mrs. Mary S. Van Brederode.
Mrs. Ian Pryde will be chairman and the program is a “Plant Exchange.”
Members are reminded to bring excess plants and seeds.
