Mrs. Della B. Howard, who spent the past two months in Cherry Hill, N. J. with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Derderian and Joyce Aylon, was met in Arlington Saturday by Mrs. Virginia Lewis and Bob Lewis and returned home.
Mrs. Nina B. Brown spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Benny Bruce in Front Royal and was a dinner guest Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Williams.
Mr. and Mrs. F. D. Coffey, Jr., returned last Thursday from a vacation where they visited Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Dennis and children, Bill and Debra in Jackson, S. C. and also attended the Grand Old Oprey in Nashville, Tenn. Frank III, Mike Cave and Charles Woodward spent the weekend on a fishing trip with John Coffey at Tyro.
Mrs. Maury W. Brown underwent surgery at the Culpeper Memorial Hospital and is progressing satisfactorily. The children have been staying with Mr. Brown to be near her. Mrs. Donald Williams of Richmond spent from Thursday to Sunday and Mrs. Jean Konek and Mrs. Phyllis Shirey of Richmond were here for the weekend. Charles Brown returned to Oxford, Ohio and Allen Brown to Winston Salem, N. C. on Monday. C/M/ Sgt. Maury W. Brown, Jr. of Colorado Springs, Colo, remained for a weeks visit.
