THE Rappahannock girls JV track team took seven first place spots in district competition Tuesday. In close competition was Central High of Woodstock only 3 1/2 points behind the Lady Panther JV’s. This team is composed of 19 eighth graders and 2 ninth grade girls.
This is the first year for a girls JV track team and their spring activity is an indication of what can be expected in the future.

There is an opening for a Summer Work-Study Student at the Rappahannock Extension Office. Students may qualify for WorkStudy as an entering college freshman until graduation. The College Finance Aid Officer must approve students’ eligibility.
