Tony Wayland. Other freshman on the team include Jonathan Aylor, Ernie Fletcher, Gary Jenkins, John Jenkins, and Jim Tomko. Both boys teams will give the spectators some exciting games to watch, so we’ll let you know when the season starts and you can lend your support.
Tlie Future Homemakers of America met and elected officers. Donna Stove is the president, Penny Jett is the vice-president, Connie Whorton, secretary and Lisa Settle, treasurer. Extension Agent Nancy Secrist was a guest of the F.H.A., and had shown them several Christmas decorations to make for the upcoming holiday. On November 7 the F.H.A. hosted morning coffee and donuts for the teachers, which we’re sure was greatly appreciated.
The National Honor Society has held several meetings also, and acting president for the year is David Hudson. Holding the vice-presidency is Curtis Nichols while Natalie Swindler is the secretarytreasurer. The N.H.S. is soon to be coming out with a newspaper, something extra for all the students at school.
