Combine cream cheese with V* cup sugar and vanilla and blend. Add one egg and mix well. Spread on bottom of pastry shell. Blend cooked pumpkin, ‘/a cup sugar, cinnamon, ginger, mace, salt, evaported milk. Add 2 eggs. Carefully pour over cheese mixture and bake in preheated 325 degree oven for approximately 1 hour and 5 minutes until done. Cool.
Brush with maple syrup and garnish with nuts if desired.
