Wildlife poaching activities will cause Park Rangers to close two sections of Shenandoah National Park to vehicular travel during all hours of darkness from November 14 through December 3, announced Superintendent Robert R. Jacobsen today.
The affected portions of the Skyline Drive will be the 31-mile section from Front Royal south to U. S. Highway 211 at Thornton Gap, and the 39-mile section from Waynesboro north to U. S. Highway 33 at Swift Run Gap. The Park roads in these areas will be closed at dark each day and will not re-open
