Woodward
Services for Jospeh Turner Woodward, 86, of Amissville were held Tuesday from the Geest Funeral Home Chapel conducted by the Rev. Joseph F. Stirman Jr. Interment followed in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
Mr. Woodward died late Saturday evening, Nov. 12, 1977.
The son of the late John Woodward and Addie Corder Woodward of Rappahannock County, he was a retired farmer. His wife, the former Minnie Mae Carter, died in 1971.
Survivirs include a daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Gough of Amissville; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Margaret F. Mahoney of Huntly and Mrs. Virginia Mae Wines of Bethesda, Md.; and two stepsons, Franklin Lee Willingham of Elkwood and Robert Lawrence Willingham of Madison.
