Dodson
Graveside services for Lester Dodson of Sperryville were held Saturday in Sperryville Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Ronald Wiley, assisted by the Rev. Vickie Pittard.
Mr. Dodson, 75, died Wednesday , Nov. 9, 1977 in Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
A native of Rappahannock County, he was the son of the late Ernest and Mary Jane Atkins Dodson.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Kathleen Berry Dodson of Sperryville; two daughters, Mrs. Linda D. Peyton of Falls Church and Mrs. Dorothy D. Baldwin of Sperryville; two sons, Donald W. Dodson of Haymarket and Lawrence R. Dodson of Fairfax, four sisters, Mrs. Gladys Anderson, Mrs. Maggie Clater, Mrs. Annie Mary Oden, and Mrs. Susie Brown, all of Sperryville; and seven grandchildren.
