A funeral service for Earl Bedford Ryan, 54, of Orlean was conducted Friday from the Orlean Baptist Church by the Rev. Terry Green with burial in Orlean Cemetery.
Mr. Ryan died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 1977, in Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton.
Born Oct. 29, 1923, in Fauquier County, he was the son of Bedford and Elsie Carter Ryan.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Ryan; three daughters, Joyce A. Jenkins of Rixeyville, Barbara Putnam of Marshall and Agnes Bragg of Orlean; five sons, Howard L. Ryan of Marshall, Roger E. Ryan of Amissyille, Albert M. Ryan of Rixeyville, Bernard L. Ryan and Earl B. Ryan, Jr., both of Orlean; 10 grandchildren; one sister, Frances Ryan of Florida; and three brothers, Charles Ryan of The Plains, and Richard Ryan and Walter Ryan of Middleburg.
