As of November 9, Rappahannock County has over 230 acres that will never be cut up into subdivisions with names like Mountain View, Riverside Acres or Skyline Vista—developments that offer as a selling point the same landscape features their very existence endangers.
Instead, property belonging to Bob Dennis, Phil Irwin, Lt. General Sidney Berry and Hope D. Anderson will be preserved as it is now unspoiled, demanding no county services, protected by an open space easement granted to the Virginia Outdoors
