A funeral was conducted Friday in the Chester Gap

Baptist fission with Tayloi Wood officiating. Burial followed in the Williams cemetery in Chester Gap.

Born on April 23, 1902, in Rappahannock County, Mr. North was the son of the late Bush and Priscilla Ralls North.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ada North; two sons, Stewari G. North of Marshall and Samuel R. North of Front Royal; three daughters, Georgia Brown of Hamilton, Minnie W. Goranson ol Chester Gap, and Pearl Mills of Huntly; two sisters, Laura Beatty of Chester Gap and Lucy Brown of Baltimore; 20 grandchildren; 19 greatgrandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
