Rector
Ray Rector, 87, of Marshall died January 10, 1978, at his residence. Funeral services were conducted Friday from the Royston Funeral Home in Marshall by the Rev. Terry Green. Burial was in Orlean Cemetery.
Mr. Rector was born Sept. 21, 1890, in Hawlin, Rappahannock Co., the son of the late Walter N. and Izza May Brown Rector. His wife, Mary Lee Rector, predeceased him.
Surviving are three sons. Raymond Lyle Rector, James Nelson Rector, and Allen Leon Rector, all of Marshall, one sister, Mrs. Perle Coffey of Sperryville; 6 grandchildren and 4 greatgrandchildren.
