Horace Milton Partlow, 74, of Hagerstown, Md. died Sunday, January 8, 1978 after several years of declining health. He was born in Hume, a son of the late Charles Walter Partlow and Alma Thornton Partlow. He was a member of the John Wesley United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Betty J. Partlow and one son, Robert Lee Partlow, at home; a daughter Miss Linda Anna Partlow of Hagerstown; one sister, Mrs. Rena Smedley of Luray; two step-sisters, Mrs. Charles C. Burke of Washington, Va. and Mrs. Georgia Vaughan of Fredericksburg, and one grandchild.
A funeral service was held last Wednesday from the Minnick Funeral Home conducted by the Rev. William G. Cook Jr. Interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hagerstown.

Meeting
The Rappahannock Arts and Crafts Club will meet on Tuesday, Jan. 14, at 10 a.m. at Cab-Inn. The program will include planning for the new year and Christmas ideas to share and work on.
