All Applications for assistance under the Emergency Feed Program must be filed by February 13, 1978.
The objective of the Emergency Feed Program is to provide assistance to eligible livestock owners by sharing the cost of feed for eligible livestock when such feed must be purchased in excess of normal.
Approximately 55 applications have been approved under the Emergency Feed Program in Rappahannock County. If you suffered a substantial feed loss due to the drought, be sure to file an application under the Emergency Feed Program by February 13, 1978.
