It has been an interesting Session with more work and time spent than I can remember. Two projects the good folks back home charged me with were almost accomplished. One was to restore the four positions at Germanna. I asked for four from the House and got two. Then I tried the Senate with the help of Senators Michael and Miller and got one, making a total of three. There just weren’t enough places to go to get the remaining one.
The other was to extend Dr. LeGarde’s term. After talking to the Governor I had to go to two different departments and working my way up finally found and got the right answers. Once you know where to start you just keep on digging until you come up out of the right hole. Now I know how a groundhog works.
1 was also asked to put in five bills. Two were killed, one carried over and two passed.
I answered all of the mail which was pretty steady, and if I missed any please let me know. I returned all phone calls and furnished answers
