Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Luther Payne Sunday afternoon were Mr. and Mrs. Everette Blosser of New Market.

Tuesday afternoon callers of Miss Annie Miller Almond were Mrs. Anna Fincham and Mrs. Marjorie Ruskin of Sperryville.

Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Fairfax returned home Friday after spending twelve days in Hawaii.

Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Baines, Bobby and Lee accompanied by Mrs. Sarah Latham and Shannon Streagle of Amissville had dinner Friday evening at the Chesapeake Seafood House in Manassas to celebrate the birthday of Mrs. Baines.

Needlework

Show Set

Belle Grove in Middletown, property of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, will host a needlework show on May 1825.

Competition will be divided into adult and junior categories and will include quilting, coverlets, crewel, 'bargello and canvas embroideries, pillows, rugs, pictures, furniture, wearing apparel, personal accessories, furniture and bed covers.

Professionals are invited to display their work on a noncompetitive basis.
