Mr. and Mrs. Roy Alther and family of Sperryville spent Sunday with her mother, Mrs. Gabe Burke.

Mr. and Mrs. John Schultz accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Howard Holschuh of Castleton left from Seattle, Wash., for a cruise to Juneau, Alaska, and inland to Whitehorse, Canada. They also visited places of interest in Vancouver. The Holschuhs returned home by train from Seattle. Mr. and Mrs. Schultz visited her brother Dudley Schneider and Mr. Schultz’s mother Mrs. Mary Lou Schultz in Los Angeles, Calif., and also visited in Colorado, Illinois, Ohio and Pennsylvania before returning home last week.

Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Fairfax spent from Saturday until Monday in Williamsport, Md., and were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Fairfax. Dinner guests Sunday of Mrs. L. J. Turner were the Rev. Timothy Teates of Madison and the Rev. and
