Faculty representative Don Bomberger, who also teaches art at the high school, told the board that he has students in Art I, II, III and IV all in one class. Since most students are in Art I, the advanced pupils must work on an “independent study type basis.” In addition, he noted that at least twice as many students sign up for the class than can fit in. "The interest is there," Bomberger said.

The proposal for addition of a class for Art I students with Art II, III and IV pupiles to be taught together in an advanced class was not discussed by the board. There was likewise no response to the request for another general business section although teacher Brion Patterson reported that enrollment is now restricted to students who transfer into RCHS from another school.
