Undecideds

To the editor:

Your recent politcial poll drew my attention, of course, and I wondered why so many “undecideds”. Then 1 thought of these headlines from recent issues of The Washington Post which could help the "undecideds” to become “decideds”:

“Former Favorite (Eugene McCarthy) of Liberals Plans to Vote for Reagan” (Oct. 23)

“Inflation Worsens in Final Statistics Before Election Day” (Oct. 25)

“Carter Turns to Ridicule, Sarcasm in War of Words with Reagan” (Oct. 22)

Of course he could talk about HIS record - but why bring THAT up!

Hound Blessing

For the first time in memory. Mother Nature refused to cooperate with the Rappahannock Hunt and sent rain instead of sunshine for the blessing of the hounds set for last Saturday’s opening meet. ■ The traditional ceremony has been rescheduled for this Saturday, • November 4. at 9 a.m. before the field leaves Natalie Emery’s farm on Route 620 near Five Forks.
