The Rappahannock County Public Schools Special Education Advisory Committee will meet Friday, November 21, at 10:00 A.M. at the Rappahannock Mental Health Clinic (2nd floor of Clopton House in Washington) to review the updated six-year plan for Special Education, as well as formulate an application for federal funding (Title Vl-B).
Anyone with questions and-or concerns about special education programs in the county should contact Dr. Rob McDaniel at the School Board Office (9878773) or one of the Advisory Committee Members: Lee Nettles, Mrs. W. Richard Settle, Mrs. Frances Thornton. Robert Ingle, Mrs. Jo Ann Currence, Mrs. Arlene Roemer or Mrs. Marsha Thompson. All advisory committee meetings are open to the public.
On Wednesday and Thursday of the same week (November 19 and 20) between 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. special education classrooms will be open to Advisory Committee Members and other concerned county residents. Anyone intersted in touring the special education classroom must contact the School Board Office for scheduling to insure that classroom instruction is not unduly hampered.
