During the five minutes allowed for questions before the board went into executive session at 11 p.m., Sharon Kilpatrick asked what the board planned to do about restrictions on the number of students allowed to take eighth grade history and algebra I. According to Mrs. Kilpatrick, enrollment for both . academic subjects is restricted to one class of approximately 25 students for each course. More than 25 students want to take the classes, she said, but aren’t allowed to enroll because of the limitation on numbers.
