provided the rest of the evening’s entertainment. The performances were diverse and imaginative, ranging from gospel music to a mysterious middle eastern dancer who called herself “Murvet”. It would be impossible to mention all of the performers in the short space of this article; suffice it to say that there were eighteen acts in all and a multitude of talent.

Disc jockeys Bernie O’Brien and John Hall from WEER in Warrenton emceed and gave out door prizes between acts. The door prizes were as diverse as the performances, and included a quarter wheel of cheese, free karate lessons, and free meals at various local eating establishments.
