As a member of the Board of the Rappahannock Unit of the American Cancer Society, I think the entire county should know that the Rappahannock News has won the American Cancer Media Award for the State. There are no second or third place winners given. Recipients are chosen from all forms of printed news. This award marks the second time that the News has been recognized as dedicated to public service; and I want to pay tribute to Sarah Latham for her leadership and guidance, and especially to
