All of this progress lets people who know very little about hunting get deeper into the woods faster. They missed the long, often arduous lessons on selfsufficiency. They weren’t taught by their father or grandfather that you kill fish and wildlife only if you can use what you kill in a productive manner.
“There’s been no effort to develop the codes of behavior to go along with the technological developments,” Dennis emphasized.
“Most hunters don’t go hunting just to kill. If that's all they wanted to do, they could save a lot of money by going down to the store and buying a bunch of chickens to take home and shoot in their front yard,” Dennis said. “Killing animals is not why 4 go hunting.
