At Court House

Jim Hobgood, assistant to Rep. J. Kenneth Robinson, will be at the court house in Washington on Wednesday, November 19, from 10 a.m. to noon. Any area citizen with a problem of a federal nature or with opinions to relay on national legislative issues is invited to meet with the congressman’s representative. When Hobgood is not on travel assignment, he may be reached at Robinson’s S.redtriekcburg office in the Dominion Bank Building on Princess Anne Street, telephone 703-373-0536. After hours appointments are welcome.

Father-Son

Campout

Cub Scout Pack 50 of Amissville held a father-son campout November 1 and 2 at Castleton on the property of Mrs. Irma Hensley.

Those participating included Sean Wayland, Adam Harmes, Rodney and Randy Ramey, Kenny Thayer, Neil Curtis, Wayne Dodson and Chris Michelena.

Leaders and fathers who stayed were David Melbourne, Silas Martin, Clarence Dodson, Kinsey Wharton, Bud Harmes, Jerry Curtis, Linnie Ramey and Larry Wayland. Everyone had a great time, according to Leader Dodson.

Pack 50 will have its next pack meeting Tuesday, November 18. All parents are urged to attend these meetings with their sons. Any boys between the ages 8 and 10 are invited to join.
