and present a three to five minute speech on black American history and in the poetry category, students may choose between reciting a poem written by a noted black poet or writing an original poem relating to the struggles of black Americans.
All entries must be turned in to Michael Kimble at Rappahannock County High School by February 25. Winners will present their entries at RCHS assembly program on Friday. February 27.
Musical Program
The Friendship Chorus from Culpeper will present a musical program at Hopewell Baptist Church near Sperryville Sunday, February 22, at 7 p.m. The public is invited.
