Funny thing happened on the way to the church of my choice on Sunday. It was raining to beat the band here in Richmond so I put on my overshoes. As I was walking down the brick sidewalk I noticed my right overshoe was bowed or bent to the right of my shoe. .
1 went in the bus station, sat down next to a group of people waiting for the bus and took off my overshoe. Lo! and behold an Irish potato rolled out on the floor, sprouts and all. 1 thought the folks there would crack up. Moral to this story is never leave your overshoes next to the potato sack.
Speaking of Sunday, the past one made history. It was the first time in more than 203 years a voting calendar was dated on Sunday. There have been sessions that started on Saturday and gone into Sunday but never one scheduled on Sunday.
