Bridge Party

Mrs. Frances Tabler entertained the Sperryville Bridge Club and additional guests Friday evening at her home.

Those playing were Mrs. Dale Metzinger, Mrs. Mary Quaintance, Mrs. I. R. Kilby, Mrs. Roy L. Reeve, Mrs. L. J. Kilby, Mrs. W. H. Lyne, Mrs. H. M. Keyser, Mrs. T. J. Pillar, Mrs. W.H. Cordle, Mrs. Brown Miller and Mrs. R. E. Thompsen.

Prize winners were Mrs. Metzinger, Mrs. Quaintance, Mrs. I. R. Kilby, Mrs. Reeve and Mrs. Keyser.

Celebration Service

The First Baptist Church Ushers Board will hold its annual Celebration Service Sunday, October 18, at 3 p.m. at the church. Visiting ushers are urged to attend in uniforms if possible. The public is invited.

Fire-Rescue Meet

The Rappahannock Fire and Rescue Association will meet Friday, October 16, at 7:30 p.m. at the Chester Gap fire hall. All members are urged to attend.
