Mrs. Arthur Vaughan of Fredericksburg spent from Tuesday until Friday with Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. Burke. Joining them for lunch Thursday were Cletus Burke of Front Royal and Ashton Burke of Warrenton.

Mrs. Florence Williamson of Woodville was a Sunday guest of Mrs. W. M. Fletcher.

Visiting Mr. and Mrs. John Clark Jr., Stacey and Amanda Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Pullen and Pearl of Culpeper.

Mr. and Mrs. Lemen Owens of Broad Run and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Alther and children of Sperryville were Sunday guests of Mrs. Gabe Burke.

Mr. and Mrs. Nick Peneranda of Fairfax spent the weekend with J. Stant Weaver. Joining them for dinner Saturday evening were John Weaver, Ena Carmago and her family, all of Washington, D. C.

Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Simpson of Luray were recent guests of Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Keyser. Friday visitors at The Oaks were Mr. and Mrs. Albert Slaughter of Leesburg, and Mr. and Mrs. Mack Painter of Winchester were Sunday callers.

Mrs. Bruce Bowie and Mrs. Lillian Kendrick, both of Culpeper, and Joseph B. Reid of McLean were Sunday visitors of Mrs. Alice R. Wood. A group sponsored by the Rappahannock Women’s Club recently attended a performance of Fiddler On The Roof at the Hayloft in Manassas. Guests Tuesday evening of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Brown in celebration of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Clark’s 35th wedding anniversary were Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Brown, Mr. and Mrs. Tim Brown and Jason and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Brown, all of Woodville, and their houseguests, Mr. and Mrs. Tim Corbett and Jo of England.
